Here we are, the first post and all I can think about is the future. My hope for this blog is that we, as oklahoma creatives can find a place of community not only to inspire but to connect and learn together. This takes work, but more importantly it takes commitment—commitment to staying involved, commitment to growing the oklahoma design community and commitment to each other.

With all this talk of MAPS3, I can’t help but acknowledge the present momentum found in oklahoma’s main cities, in Tulsa as well as OKC. Both cities have recently been awarded high spots on national lists of cities that will recover from this rough economic time. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. That said, I will now get off my soap box. Ultimately, I hope this blog will be for the people, by the people. I challenge you to take part in what is happening in our great state. Go find your “okiecreative” state of mind.
